Important Notice: Power Smart App is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government entity or electricity distribution company (DISCO).

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Power Smart App and related services ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Power Smart App provides:

  • A platform to submit electricity meter readings to various distribution companies (DISCOs) in Pakistan
  • Bill viewing and payment facilitation services
  • Consumption tracking and analysis tools

Note: We are a third-party service and do not guarantee the accuracy of bill calculations or the acceptance of meter readings by DISCOs.

2. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Service, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate and complete information
  2. Submit meter readings only for accounts you are authorized to access
  3. Verify all information with your electricity provider
  4. Maintain the security of your account credentials
  5. Use the Service only for lawful purposes

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must register an account by providing:

  • Your full name
  • Valid contact information
  • Electricity consumer account number(s)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

4. Service Limitations

Our Service has the following limitations:

  • We cannot guarantee all DISCOs will accept readings submitted through our app
  • Bill calculations are estimates only - always verify with your provider
  • Service availability may be affected by factors beyond our control
  • We are not responsible for any disputes with your electricity provider

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service may integrate with or link to:

  • Electricity provider systems
  • Payment processors
  • Other third-party services

We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness
  • We do not warrant the accuracy of any information provided

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the past 6 months
  • We are not liable for any disputes with electricity providers

10. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time:

  • Changes will be effective upon posting
  • Your continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
  • We will notify users of significant changes

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For any reason with 30 days notice
  • Immediately for serious violations

You may stop using our Service at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Islamabad.
